Libation Bible School | American Whiskey
It only happens once a year! The most popular edition of our Libation Bible School spirits & cocktail education series is our American Whiskey class, which coincides with Bourbon month.
If you've attended one of our classes before, get ready for a brand new crop of exceptional whiskey pours -- and if you're brand new, you can expect a fantastic experience sipping and learning in a fun, conversational tasting experience.
Our spirited classes cover the history, distillation and cocktail applications of your favorite spirits. The session includes a welcome Bourbon cocktail, a guided tasting of 8 fantastic American Whiskey pours (including a few surprises) plus whiskey-friendly paired snacks.
21+ only; space is limited to maximize convivial conversation.
Libation Bible School | Amaro, Vermouth & Fortified Wine
No Manhattan or Martini is complete without them ! Vermouth, fortified wine and amaro may be used to being part of the supporting cast - but in this Libation Bible School session, we're going to make them the star of the bar!
This session covers the history, production and cocktail applications of the world's vermouths, fortified wines and amaro. The session includes a welcome cocktail, a guided tasting of at least 8 pours spanning the globe and a paired select of aperitivo bites.
The category is HUGE so come thirsty -- and thirsty for knowledge!

House of Effervescence
We’re in the business of fizz-ness August 19th-30th! Join us for a celebration of all things sparkling in the 3rd edition of our House of Effervescence pop-up menu.

Libation Bible School | Rum & Cane Spirits
Time flies when you are having r(h)um!
Just in time for National Rum Day weekend, our next installment of our popular Libation Bible School sessions will be a delicious dive in to one of our all-time favorite categories -- rum and cane spirits! Join us on Sunday, August 17th as we kick off a fresh set of classes.
Often one of the most misunderstood and misapplied spirits in the cocktail sphere, rum deserves due credit for its versatility, variety & complexity. As always, we will cover history, distillation & process across multiple rum producing countries, unsung heroes in the category and cocktail application.
You'll be encouraged to think outside the tropical box as we taste through this very special category -- though fear not! If you're idea of rum involves toes in the sand, we'll have some beachside vibes, too!
Our rum session will include a guided tasting of at least 6 exceptional cocktail and sipping r(h)ums plus a mini rum cocktail flight.
Every guest will also enjoy a new selection of light snacks designed to amplify the flavors and textures of the rums being served.
Space is limited for both sessions to maximize convivial conversation. 21+ only!
Rosé Riot!
We’re pouring rosé at high volume! We’re painting the town PINK with a delicious list of 7 rosé wines from across the world. Proceeds from our Rosé Riot menu will benefit GirlsRockATX! - a non-profit which provides music education and mentorship programs for girls, gender-expansive and BIPOC youth across Austin.

The 2025 calendar of our popular Libation Bible School series kicks off on Sunday, February 23rd from 2-4pm and our classes have an exciting, new format!
Lead by owner, Jessica Sanders, and the award-winning DrinkWell bar team, our spirited afternoons of beverage education are getting even more delicious this year with an added focus on cocktail applications for all the terrific spirits we showcase in each session.
What better way to begin the year....than with GIN! Enjoy a comprehensive peek into the distillation and versatility of Gins from around the world. This conversational and delicious class is part history, part science, part storytelling and all delicious!
Gin afficinado? Take a deeper dive into the spirit's botantical bounty. Think you don't like Gin? We invite you to think -- and drink! - again.
$70 per person; includes a guided tasting of 6 distinct gins, 6 corresponding cocktail samples, and savory & sweet light bites to snack on.

Winter Warmers
Let us warm you up with our annual menu of cozy hot toddies and warm drinks! We’ll have a collection of our favorites with special events including National Irish Coffee Day (Saturday 1/25) and Boozy Hot Cocoa Day (Friday 1/31).
As part of our winter warmers feature, we are collecting donations of new, warm gloves or socks Bring in either of these items and enjoy $1 off any hot drink on our menu. We’ll match every donated item and contributed them to Austin-based mutual aid organizations in need.
New Year's Eve at DrinkWell
Cheers to the future! Ring in the New Year at one of Austin’s favorite neighborhood cocktail bars!
No tickets. No reservations. No cover! We will be open starting at 4pm with happy hour until 5:30pm.
We will have a special menu of celebratory original cocktails, elevated classics and an extended list of bubbles. Our kitchen will be open all night long.
All seating is first come, first served. Come as you are — extra fancy or fancy free.
Dirty Santa Game Night
Monday, December 23rd - Starts at 7pm
Join us for our 2nd ‘Dirty Santa’ community game night, hosted by our favorite queens - Diamond Dior Davenport and Aira Juliet.
How it works:
$20 ticket/cover includes a guaranteed seat in the bar, your choice of a welcome cocktail from our ‘Celebration Libations!’ holiday menu and live performances from our host queens.
Come with a gift, leave with a gift. $20 value recommended — the quirkier, the better. Traditional dirty santa/white elephant rules will apply.
Additional food & beverages will be available for purchase all night.
No time to shop but still want to play? No problem! Select the “BUY MY GIFT FOR ME” add-on when purchasing your ticket and our elves will take care of the rest. We will have a wrapped present waiting for you to contribute to the game.
Space is limited! Advanced tickets are strongly recommended. Once we sell out the event, DrinkWell will be open with outdoor patio seating only for walk-up guests.
